Services and Availability
Formal Autism/ADHD/General Mental Health Diagnostic Assessments
Kym offers formal ASD/ADHD and general mental health diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents (11 years + only) and adults.
The assessment process usually involves four appointments - the first two appointments are a clinical interview, the third is a cognitive assessment and the final session is the feedback session. There are also numerous questionnaires to complete as part of the process. A report is included in the assessment process. For information about fees and processes, please email me directly.
Please note, for any adults seeking an ADHD assessment/diagnosis only and who would like to explore medication options - it is likely to be a more cost and time effective process to see a Psychiatrist specialising in ADHD for your assessment. Psychologists are not able to prescribe medication. It also has become common practice that someone who wants to see a psychiatrist to explore ADHD medication options (after already being diagnosed with ADHD from a psychologist or a psychiatrist) will need to go through the ADHD assessment process again with their new psychiatrist. If this is your situation, please talk to your GP or click on this link to explore psychiatrist options: https://www.yourhealthinmind.org/find-a-psychiatrist
